Cupid's Heart
Cupid’s Heart is an alt-rock trio from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, known for their unique blend of cello, electric guitar, drums, and rich, low female vocals. Their sound has been described as “Chrissie Hynde Pretenders vibes with a pinch of Nirvana,” offering a raw yet melodic take on alternative rock. Since forming in 2022, the band has gained recognition for their emotional depth, musical chemistry, and captivating live performances.
The group—Emma Jean, Stacey Dunn, and Zachary Kerr—released their debut EP Atrium in 2023, earning a SaskMusic Award nomination for Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year. Their music has been featured on community and national radio, including CBC. With recent releases like “Pick Me Up” and the music video for “Peace,” Cupid’s Heart continues to grow their audience and push creative boundaries, with a new single slated for release on Valentine’s Day 2025.
