How To View A Livestream
Livestreams are available to purchase through our regular ticketing site. They are marked as livestream events so they're easy to find in the main menu.
If you've bought online before, you're welcome to purchase the livestream directly through that account.
Tickets for livestream viewing can be bought over the phone or from our Box Office, but you still need to ensure you have an active online account to actually view the livestream. To make sure you have an account, visit https://tickets.citypa.ca and attempt to log in using the button in the top right corner. There is a forgotten password function you can use if you don't remember creating an online account. It will tell you if your email address has an account attached to it.
If you don't have an online account and you prefer to buy over the phone or in person, please set up your online account up before purchasing a livestream ticket.
Livestream tickets will be available up until showtime, but if you've never watched a livestream before we encourage you to buy ahead to avoid confusion getting into your viewing window.
A DAY OR TWO BEFORE THE LIVESTREAM, TAKE THESE STEPS SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN THE SHOW IS STARTING.
Once your livestream ticket is purchased, log into your account at tickets.citypa.ca. Or click on the
TICKET ACCOUNT tab in this site's menu, top right on desktop displays.
Once logged in, Select HOME in the top right menu.
Under "My Patron Services," click "Tickets For Upcoming Performances."
In the next window you'll view all tickets you have in your account for upcoming shows. The Livestream tickets will have a "Watch" button above the photo. Click "Watch."
The next screen is where the livestream feed will occur. At least fifteen minutes before the show starts we'll have video with sound running so you can get your viewing preference ready. You can cast to your smart TV from your device, or use a device like Chromecast to view on your TV if you like.
Again, it's a good idea to go through this process well before the show starts to allow for your computer software to update, or for any other unforeseen issues that might come up. If you require technical assistance on how to broadcast to your TV or any other computer-related questions, please contact an electronics store for assistance. Unfortunately, our Box Office can only offer limited IT support.
