SAFETY PROTOCOLS IN PLACE FOR AUDITIONS

All participants are expected to follow the health and safety protocols that are currently in place at the EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts. These guidelines include masks at all public points in the building. Singers may remove masks for their audition but then must put them back on before leaving the stage. Band members will be separated safely on stage during their auditions. Also in effect at this time: mandatory proof of vaccination for eligible visitors and/or  negative COVID-19 test administered within 72 hours of auditions.

To Whom The Regulations Apply:

  • Members of the Public 13 years and older

  • Children that are 12 years of age before October 13, 2021 have until January 11, 2022 (90 days) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Children that turn 12 after October 13, 2021 will have 90 days after their birthday to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Requirements:

Members of the Public 12 years and older are required to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated or proof of a negative COVID-19 test before being allowed in the EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts, along with required ID for those 18 and older.

  • Youth aged 12-17 also need to show ID unless accompanied by an adult with proof of vaccination and ID.  Youth aged 12 to 17, visiting without an adult, who do not have photo identification are allowed to present other forms of government issued identification such as birth certificate or health services card.

  • Evidence of being fully vaccinated or proof of a negative COVID-19 test must be produced each time a person attends the facility for this purpose.  Evidence and proof are only being scanned and are not being saved for any future use.

For all applicable safety requirements please visit the SAFETY tab of this website.

We anticipate similar safety measures will apply in January during the workshop and showcase dates, but if regulations change we will follow the guidelines in place at the time of the events. The SAFETY tab of this website will be updated as regulations change.
